Rochford Deanery comprises parishes from Rettendon and Rawreth in the west to Foulness and Great Wakering in the east. Most of it northerly boundary is the River Crouch and its easterly boundary is the sea. It has larger towns and villages such as Rayleigh, Rochford, Hockley and Hawkwell and smaller villages such as Ashingdon, Barling, Canewdon, Hullbridge, Little Wakering, Paglesham, South Fambridge, Stambridge and Sutton with Shopland.
